Adopt a Metre - 1 to 99 Metres

$100.00

Start strong. Make your mark. Be part of the journey.

Metres 1 to 99 represent the opening stretch of the William Nelson Athletics Precinct - where every race begins, every stride builds momentum, and every athlete finds their rhythm. These metres are the foundation of every finish line moment.

By adopting one of these early metres, you’re supporting the resurfacing of Hawke’s Bay’s beloved athletics track and securing a place for your name, your whānau, or your business in the heart of our sporting community.

Perfect for:
• Families honouring a loved one
• Businesses showing community pride
• Athletes marking personal milestones
• Supporters who want to be part of the foundation

Each adoption includes a personalised plaque beside your chosen metre - your name, your story, your legacy - designed to last for the life of the track.

The Adopt a Metre programme run by Mitre 10 Park does not provide any legal entitlement beyond recognition of your donation on your chosen mark, and online. Mitre 10 Park will contact each donor after their purchase to confirm details for the plaque. Character limits may apply. Mitre 10 Park reserves the right to review all plaque submissions and may, at its sole discretion, refuse to display messages that contain offensive, inappropriate, or disrespectful language. These plaques will remain in place for the life of the track, (approximately 10 years) serving as a tribute to your support, your whānau, or your business.
