Mitre 10 Park Hawke's Bay has a wow factor that makes school events a memorable experience for students and teachers.

Over 20,000 people including 50 schools use the William Nelson Athletics facility each year. Students get a buzz out of using a world class athletics track - one which Olympic silver medalist Nick Willis describes as "fast, really fast".

The site is safe, enclosed, has easy parking and a great sound system.

Schools are increasingly using it for more than their athletic sports. It's a great cross country - spectators can see the whole course.

It’s also a great multi-sport venue – we can host athletics, netball, football, touch, rugby, league, ki-o-rahi, hockey and a whole lot more.
